One Canada Multicultural Alliance (OCMA)

The mission of One Canada Multicultural Alliance (OCMA) is to advance inclusion, celebrate cultural diversity, and strengthen the social fabric of Aurora by creating meaningful opportunities for residents to connect across cultures. We are committed to building a community where people of all backgrounds feel respected, represented, and empowered to participate fully in civic and cultural life.

 

OCMA promotes multicultural understanding through festivals, workshops, educational programs, and community initiatives that highlight the traditions, stories, and contributions of diverse cultural groups. By fostering intercultural dialogue and shared experiences, we aim to deepen mutual understanding and reduce barriers that often separate communities.

 

Our mission includes supporting newcomers as they adjust to life in Canada, empowering women through leadership and safety programs, engaging youth with mentorship and skill-building activities, and ensuring seniors remain active, connected, and valued. Through these efforts, we work to cultivate a community rooted in compassion, collaboration, and cultural pride.
